The Ultimate Fighting Championship, the world's largest mixed martial arts organization, has hosted many remarkable and media-driven stories. According to ABC España, Sal Everett's is one of the most unusual.
Everett arrived at the U.S. promotion roughly three years ago as a member of its security team. He has now officially become a UFC fighter after getting through Dana White's Contender Series, the report says.
His most surprising move, however, was not the leap from security to the octagon. Between those stages, Everett secured a much closer position to the organization's president. When a spot opened on Dana White's team, he became a production assistant and staff member for the UFC boss, working directly alongside one of mixed martial arts' most important figures.
