The Guadalquivir KH7 Night Race is being held tonight in Seville with an edition (the 38th) that will once again bring together thousands of runners through the streets of the city. The test, of which ABC de Sevilla is the official sponsor, will kick off at 10:00 p.m. from the Paseo de las Delicias, where the finish line will also be located. Ahead, participants will have to complete an 8.5 kilometer route in an event that also reaches a record number of 26,000 runners. The high number of participants and the need to guarantee the correct development of the race have forced the implementation of a special traffic device, which includes traffic closures and restrictions in different parts of Seville. Therefore, those who are going to participate in the Nocturna and plan to travel by car should arrive well in advance and check the affected areas. It will be especially important to take into account the restrictions and space reservations planned for parking near the exit, since access to the Paseo de las Delicias environment will be conditioned during the hours before and after the test. The special device planned for the Night Race will not only affect circulation. It also contemplates the reservation of different spaces on public roads for tasks related to the organization of the test, which will reduce parking possibilities at certain points near the route. For this reason, those arriving by car should pay special attention to the signs installed on the streets and check in advance whether parking is allowed in the chosen area. Furthermore, these limitations are not only concentrated in the hours of the race. Space reservations are maintained from Thursday night until early Saturday, so some places will remain affected for more than 24 hours. Even so, there are free parking alternatives in streets around Paseo de las Delicias that can be used by runners to leave their vehicle and then walk to the starting line, always respecting the signs and avoiding the areas expressly reserved by the device. In this sense, an option to consider is to look for parking on the other bank of the river, in Los Remedios, being able to find space in the intermediate streets between Virgen de Luján and Flota de Indias. Another alternative for those who prefer to travel to the Guadalquivir Night Race by car is to use one of the paid car parks located around the Paseo de las Delicias, especially around the Glorieta de Buenos Aires. This is an option that allows you to leave the vehicle relatively close to the starting area and complete the journey on foot to the starting point of the test. Of course, opting for a paid car park does not guarantee finding a space at the last minute either, as these car parks can register a high demand during the afternoon and the hours before the race. Therefore, if this alternative is chosen, it is also advisable to plan your arrival in advance and have the parking located.
