Andy Pages came through with a bases-loaded single in the seventh inning that brought home two runs and pushed Los Angeles in front, as the Dodgers defeated the Atlanta Braves 4-1 on Wednesday night to close out their National League Division Series.
The victory gave the Dodgers the best-of-five matchup 3-1, following consecutive wins in Atlanta, and sent them through to the National League Championship Series.
Max Muncy added to the club's postseason home run record in the game, according to The Guardian US.
Los Angeles now continues its title defense in pursuit of a third straight World Series championship, a run no National League team has previously achieved.
