An elderly man in Gaza has been able to walk again with help from the Turkish Red Crescent after Israeli authorities confiscated his prosthetic limb, according to Anadolu Agency.
The Turkish state-run news agency, which reported the assistance, said the Palestinian Health Ministry and the International Committee of the Red Cross have recorded more than 6,000 amputations during Israel's war in Gaza, a conflict the agency describes as genocidal.
