Donald Trump gave his approval on Monday for Nidal Malik Hasan to be put to death by firing squad, France 24 reported.
Hasan, a former psychiatrist in the US Army, killed 13 people at the Fort Hood base in Texas in 2009, an attack carried out in protest at the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
