Sûreté du Québec director general Johanne Beausoleil to retire in March 2027

Johanne Beausoleil, the director general of the Sûreté du Québec, has announced she will retire on March 17, 2027, La Presse and Le Devoir reported.

The departure was announced Wednesday, according to La Presse, and brings an end to seven years in which Beausoleil led Quebec's provincial police force.
