The Joint Force of Armed Movements, a coalition aligned with Sudan's army, has announced the capture of Bir Sleiba in West Darfur.
The force said its troops and Sudanese army forces were engaged in what it called "fierce field battles" with the Rapid Support Forces.
Those clashes, according to the announcement, unfolded along the Bir Sleiba and Abu Suruj fronts, Anadolu Agency reported.
