Seville's Glorias brotherhoods are living a golden era, with more of these corporations taking to the streets than ever before, according to ABC España. The paper describes them as an essential element of evangelization and one of the most genuine ways to find and discover the purest essence of Seville.

Despite the current difficulties facing society, the brotherhoods manage to process each year with the greatest splendor, each in its own style and with its own personality, the outlet reports, maintaining traditions it says must never disappear.

ABC España also links the Glorias to a feat for Seville in the bullring: Sevillian matador Pablo Aguado, a brother of Las Penas and of El Rocío de Triana, cut three ears at the Maestranza, the paper notes.
