Saudi Arabia turned down an Israeli request to let Israeli planes fly in and pick up Israeli passengers from a flydubai flight that had made an emergency landing in the kingdom, two security sources said.
According to Reuters, the request sought approval for Israeli military aircraft to bring the Israelis back from Saudi Arabia, which does not have diplomatic relations with Israel.
Saudi Arabia's government media office did not immediately reply to a request for comment.
