PP of Cuenca backs Feijóo as party opens pre-campaign for 29 November vote

A broad delegation of Partido Popular members, supporters and public officials from Cuenca took part in Madrid on Saturday in Alberto Núñez Feijóo's first major pre-campaign event, according to ABC España. The event launched the party's electoral drive toward the 29 November elections.

José Martín-Buro, provincial president of the PP in Cuenca, described the gathering as a "resounding success."

"The enormous excitement, hope and desire for change that exist throughout Spain," José Martín-Buro said of the atmosphere at the Madrid gathering.

Martín-Buro thanked the members, supporters and public representatives who made the trip to Madrid. He stressed that the Cuenca delegation had shown its commitment to the project, ABC España reported.
