Nidec Corp., the precision motor maker that started in Kyoto and grew into the biggest company in its field worldwide, has fallen to the lowest rung of the yen debt market by one gauge, Bloomberg Markets reported. The bonds of the scandal-tainted manufacturer now sit at the bottom of that ranking.
The decline places a challenge before the company's new president, who must work to restore the trust of investors, according to the report.
