Khasher Peak stands roughly 1,660 meters above sea level in Al-Dayer Governorate in Jazan, where rugged mountain geography meets long-standing local heritage, according to Arab News.
The slopes carry centuries-old agricultural terraces that Arab News describes as an indigenous form of rainwater harvesting, alongside farms growing prized Saudi coffee and citrus. Ancient stone castles are built into the same terrain.
