Two missiles fired by Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthis were aimed at the international airport of Aden, the southern Yemeni port city, early on Wednesday, according to the media office of Aden's security department. The office said the attack caused no casualties.
The strike came as combat intensified again, following several weeks in which the Houthis advanced along Yemen's Red Sea coastline.
A counteroffensive by the Saudi-backed government, assisted by air support from the coalition, has retaken territory in the area around the strategic Bab al-Mandab Strait.
