Components belonging to the F-35 stealth fighter jet ended up in China after an email went unread at UPS, according to a Bloomberg report cited by Anadolu Agency.
Pentagon officials briefed staff of a House committee about the shipment and how it was diverted, the report said.
The State Department is investigating the episode, according to the same account.
