The house keys. The backpack with the laptop inside. The suitcase that you check in twice a year. And the case where you keep the camera. Any of the four ruins your morning the day it disappears. With a tracker on the loose you end up deciding which one matters more to you, which is a pretty dumb decision to make. Apple's AirTag four-pack skips that entire decision. Now you have it for €81.00 on AliExpress with the code BDES04. When you search for it from the iPhone, the screen gives you direction and distance. You walk toward the object instead of walking around the room with your ear to the ground. That's the real difference with any Bluetooth tracker. And outside the home it doesn't depend on your cell phone. It relies on Apple's Search network, the same one that locates a lost iPhone, with the location encrypted and without Apple or anyone else knowing where your suitcase is. Compared to a white label tracker, the difference is not in the plastic tablet. It is in how many people carry a device capable of seeing it. The Search network now has around one billion devices worldwide. That's why a suitcase can appear on the map from another country without you lifting a finger. You notice it the day that the airport conveyor spits out all the suitcases except yours: the map tells you if it left the plane with you or if it stayed on the stopover. Hold up the deal, too. It resists water and dust, so rain, the bottom of the backpack or a fall in a puddle will do nothing to it. In a checked suitcase that is not an extra, it is the minimum condition. The battery is a button battery, a watch battery, and lasts more than a year. When it wears out, you change it, without cables or charger involved. The but, put bluntly: locating the object is an iPhone and iPad thing. With Android there is no native localization, so if there is no Apple phone at home, the pack is not useful for that. The alert against a foreign tracker, on the other hand, no longer distinguishes between operating systems: since 2024, iOS and Android have shared the same standard, so anyone receives the warning if an AirTag that is not theirs is attached to their pocket. With one you think a lot about where to put it. With four it is no longer a decision: keys, backpack and suitcase, and you still have one left over for the car or your wallet. Regarding the price, a note is in order: this same pack in the official Apple store costs much more, and here it is clearly lower. And something funny happens when you're already wearing them: you stop looking for things and start checking where they are. It's another way to get out of the house.
