President Donald Trump asked the US Supreme Court on Friday to take up his dismissed lawsuit against Hillary Clinton, his Democratic rival in the 2016 election, according to Arab News. Trump claims Clinton conspired with former FBI Director James Comey and others to rig that election by linking his campaign to Russia.
The appeal follows a federal judge's decision to throw out the case and impose close to $1 million in sanctions on Trump and one of his lawyers. The judge described the suit as "frivolous."
