President Trump announced an executive order in Nebraska that clears the way for cheaper dyed diesel to be burned in nonfarm vehicles, according to the New York Times.
The order waives an off-road requirement that applied to the fuel. Because the diesel is exempt from the federal highway tax, the change lets nonfarm vehicles run on a lower-cost supply than the one subject to that tax.
