President Donald Trump is carrying his midterm campaign swing into Alabama on Friday with a rally in Mobile, according to Arab News. The event at the University of South Alabama takes him back to the spot where he drew his first mega crowd, the outlet reported.

The trip lands in what Arab News describes as deep red Alabama, and Trump is using it to boost Republican candidates on the ballot there.

Among those he is stumping for is Sen. Tommy Tuberville, who is running against former Democratic Sen. Doug Jones for Alabama governor, Arab News reported.

Trump is also supporting state Rep. Rhett Marques, who is seeking to flip the state's newly redrawn 2nd Congressional District, according to the outlet.
