Netflix has established itself as one of the leading streaming platforms thanks to the wide variety of content. Its catalog brings together series, movies, documentaries and programs for all tastes, in addition to frequent premieres that maintain the interest of subscribers. In fact, Netflix has just released one of its series of the year. It is a Spanish thriller based on a successful novel by writer Arturo Pérez-Reverte. It stars actors and actresses such as José Coronado, Maribel Verdú, Martiño Rivas and María Valverde. The miniseries, produced by Mod Producciones, only has four episodes, making it a perfect option for those weekends when you don't have much time. We will tell you what it is and from what day it will be available. Netflix premieres this September 25 'The Final Problem', a miniseries that adapts the successful novel of the same name by writer Arturo Pérez-Reverte. The fiction stars José Coronado ('The Believers', 'The Snow Girl'), María Valverde ('We Were Songs', 'Everything We Don't See'), Martiño Rivas ('Snakes and Ladders', 'The Cable Girls') and Maribel Verdú ('Pan's Labyrinth', 'Elite'). The cast is completed by Gonzalo de Castro ('Politically Incorrect', 'La Tenderness'), Cristina Kovani ('The Silence', 'The Hunt: Guadiana'), José Condessa ('Cacao', 'Rabo de Peixe'), Pepón Nieto ('Smiley', 'Lo Never Seen'), among others. This new production, which combines thriller and mystery in an enveloping period context, will have a total of four episodes. During the spring of 1959, thirteen people are isolated by a storm on an islet near Mallorca. Nobody imagines what is about to happen in the small hotel where they are staying. Elisa Mander, a discreet tourist of English origin, appears dead. What at first appears to be a suicide soon begins to show signs of being something much more disturbing: a murder. Basil (José Coronado), a retired actor who once played Sherlock Holmes himself on the big screen, will find himself, almost unintentionally, in charge of unraveling what happened. Under the watchful eye of the rest of the guests, including Adela Figueroa (María Valverde), a mysterious young woman who is traveling accompanied by a friend, the detective joins forces with Foxá (Martiño Rivas), a writer of mystery novels. Together they will explore the corners of the luxurious enclave in search of answers. Their investigation will test the serenity of Mrs. Ausländer (Maribel Verdú), the accommodation manager. In a place from which no one can leave and to which no one can reach, everyone will become a suspect in a crime that, with each passing moment, reveals itself to be more complex and convoluted than anyone could imagine. The miniseries 'The Final Problem' is produced by Mod Producciones and has Fernando Bovaira ('While the War Dures', 'La Fortuna') as producer, Urko Errazquin ('The Champion', 'La Vida Padre') as executive producer and Alberto Macías, Carlos Molinero and Marisol Farré as scriptwriters. The direction is by Félix Viscarret ('A life not so simple', 'Don't look in the eyes').
