Ontario MP Scott Aitchison announced Wednesday that he will leave political life at the end of parliamentary business in December, less than two years after being re-elected.
His departure makes him the eighth MP to exit the Conservative caucus since the 2025 election.
The exit comes as the Conservatives are losing support to the Liberals in polling, according to La Presse.
