Air defenses in Saudi Arabia shot down a ballistic missile north of Riyadh, the coalition backing Yemen's sovereignty said, according to Arab News. The interception was announced early Wednesday.
Coalition spokesman Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki said in a post on X that the coalition's intelligence system had been tracking the launch platform in the skies above Sanaa, Yemen's capital.
Separately, three people were injured on Monday night when airports in Najran and Jazan were targeted by the Iran-backed group, the coalition said.
