Pentagon awards RTX $20.7bn contract to nearly double air-to-air missile output

The Pentagon has awarded RTX Corp. a $20.7 billion contract that provides for an almost twofold increase in the production of air-to-air missiles, including AMRAAM missiles, according to Interfax.

The value of the agreement was reported at about $21 billion.
