A 74-year-old Army veteran in Ohio is suing a hospital, accusing its surgeons of amputating the wrong leg, NBC News reports. Sharon Jacks filed the lawsuit in Washington County Common Pleas Court in Marietta, Ohio, according to the network.
The suit claims that Jacks's left leg was amputated at Selby General Hospital in September 2025, NBC News reported. According to the network's account, the lawsuit was filed this month.
