National Democrats have stepped up their financial involvement in Gina Hinojosa's campaign after Pritzker lent his support, according to CBS News.

The increased investment follows pressure from within the party. Last week, a group of more than 70 Latino Democratic leaders wrote to Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear, who chairs the DGA, asking the organization to put $10 million behind Hinojosa's bid.
