Mike Leigh wins San Sebastián Concha de Oro for 'Tender Loving Care'

Mike Leigh's 'Tender Loving Care' has taken the Concha de Oro at the 74th San Sebastián Film Festival, according to ABC España. The veteran British director had said the film closed his filmography.

In its account of the awards, ABC España writes that the film follows two friends who work as social workers, and calls the Concha de Oro the one prize from the jury it found understandable amid an otherwise disappointing line-up.
