A 46-year-old man who has been linked to the Latin Kings criminal organization for decades stabbed his 45-year-old partner repeatedly at her bar, La Esquina de Johanna, on Calle del Doctor Vallejo in the Pueblo Nuevo area of Madrid's Ciudad Lineal district, according to ABC España. The attack took place because the woman was not convinced about continuing the relationship, the newspaper reported.
The woman was left bleeding on the ground and survived. Before fleeing, the man threatened her over her daughter, saying he was going for the girl, according to ABC.

The bar, run by the victim, serves as a meeting point for many people from the neighborhood's Hispanic-American community, ABC reported.
