The uniformed crew members who hurried to the cockpit to steady a FlyDubai flight as it dropped sharply toward disaster had still not been publicly named as of Saturday, three days after the incident, according to Arab News. The plane, which was bound for Israel, was carrying 182 people when it plunged.

FlyDubai has referred to the men only as on-duty crew members who were traveling on the aircraft, the report said. The airline has not explained why it has disclosed so little about them, it added.

The report also draws on the account of a passenger seated at the front of the plane.
