Estrella Morente has said she was due to take a role in 'La bola negra', but the shoot fell at a time when she was away, telling El Mundo: "I was going to have a part in La bola negra, but the filming caught me elsewhere."
The singer also said she went as far as auditioning for the character played by Penélope Cruz.
According to the Spanish newspaper, Morente is returning to Manuel de Falla's 'El amor brujo' combined with the popular songs of Federico García Lorca.
