Immigrants removed from El Trampolín, a site in Ceuta, have told El Mundo that they were sent back to Morocco in forced returns carried out under deceptive circumstances.
According to the newspaper, the people expelled described being taken to the far side of the Spanish border, from where Morocco's gendarmerie moved them onwards by bus to areas hundreds of kilometres away from their homes.
El Mundo reports that the testimonies it gathered point to the Spanish government backing returns that take place without guarantees.
