The African Union Commission has denied that it blamed Egypt for the crisis in Ethiopia, after Cairo objected to its appeal, according to Anadolu Agency.
The Commission said the call for restraint, which involved Egypt, Ethiopia and Eritrea, was intended to prevent an escalation rather than to assign responsibility for developments inside Ethiopia.
