Vetusta Morla returned to the stage before a packed Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, according to ABC España, opening their 'Gira de vuelta. Canciones de ida' tour. The Tres Cantos band had taken a two-year break after 'Figurantes' to reflect and regain strength, the outlet reported.

The show marked their comeback to live performance and featured up to half a dozen new songs. The fresh material stays close to the group's epic melodies and concentrated lyricism, but carries a sweet, new and exciting flavour, the paper wrote.

ABC España framed the return with a question of whether anything had really changed. The night opened with 'Mi colección de duelos' and 'Si vuelves', the single used to introduce this new chapter of the band.

The paper described the group as still guitar-driven and 'reivindicativa'.
