Along Israel's border with Lebanon, where Hezbollah launched thousands of rockets and drones, residents who once backed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu say they are reconsidering how they will vote in the first election held since the war, according to AFP reporting published by Arab News.
"Many I know were right-wing and were Bibi supporters, and today they're not," said Sigal Malachi, a plant nursery owner, using the nickname of Israel's longest-serving premier.
In communities that have traditionally been strongholds of Netanyahu's support, many voters told AFP they could no longer back him.
