Infoca personnel, the Board's operation against forest fires, are currently working to put out a fire declared this Thursday afternoon in the El Caballón area, located in Villanueva de Córdoba. According to Infoca on its social networks, an operation has been deployed consisting of a semi-heavy helicopter, two cargo planes on the ground; 32 forest firefighters, an operations technician, an environmental agent, as well as two fire engines. The high temperatures that continue to be felt, despite how advanced September is, are a factor that helps forest fires to occur and take shape.
