G20 trade ministers meeting in Milwaukee failed to reach agreement on how to deal with surplus industrial capacity and on clearing forced labour out of supply chains, US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer said Thursday.

Greer pressed the overcapacity issue during the talks, France 24 English reported. That criticism is frequently directed at China, which disputes it.

The United States currently holds the G20's rotating presidency.
