Five candidates in France's left-wing primary confronted their views in a second debate broadcast on France 2 on Thursday evening, Le Monde reported.
The participants were Olivier Faure, Raphaël Glucksmann, Jérôme Guedj, Emmanuel Maurel and Ségolène Royal.
Their exchanges covered student mobilizations, the 2027 budget, Gaza and the question of relations with La France Insoumise (LFI).
According to Le Monde, the five candidates kept to their existing lines, both where they converge and where they fracture.
