High school and student organisations in France are calling for a third round of mobilisation, dubbed "acte 3", on October 6, as the country's school blockades continue, RFI reports.
The lycée movement kept broadening throughout the week and some of the actions it produced were violent, according to the same outlet.
On Friday, October 2, three high school unions were received by the Minister of National Education, Édouard Geffray.
The unions were left disappointed by the measures proposed during that meeting, and they are now urging pupils and students to keep the mobilisation going into next week.
