Costa the Garden Gnome is planting seedlings for the future in Utju, with washing machine drums and wheelie-bin bases pressed into service as flower beds, according to ABC News Australia.
The reuse of old household items supports a circular economy operating on a small scale in the West MacDonnell Ranges, about 200 kilometres west of Alice Springs.
