Two immigrant women, Dikra and Aya, walk together along the road that borders El Trampolín in Ceuta, dressed in long trousers and sweatshirts despite the heat and wearing flip-flops, according to ABC España.

They carry a bag of food just bought at the beach souk, a kilometre of stalls where immigrants have spent weeks reselling clothes, shoes, accessories, bread, biscuits, sausages, eggs and yoghurts left for hours in the sun. Ceuta's Local Police has been dismantling the market in recent days.

"My father used to hit me. Here they have tried to attack me," reads a quotation carried in ABC España's headline.

ABC España notes that very few women are seen in the El Trampolín area, which is why the two attract attention immediately.
