A column published by ABC España returns to Falconetti, the antagonist of the brothers Rudy and Tom in the television series 'Hombre rico, hombre pobre'. The piece describes him as having been, for a long stretch, one of the most disliked men among all television protagonists.
For comparison, the column says he drew more antipathy than Cersei Lannister does in the present day.
The column notes that the series' own title captured its two leads: one brother fared well in life while the other endured constant money troubles. Irrespective of their financial standing, it adds, both had strengths and weaknesses and were clearly the good ones.
Applying that lens to politics now, the column argues it is no longer clear whether having one or several houses, cash in the bank or a particular estate counts in a public figure's favour or against them.
